Reenactment Weekend

Coggeshall Farm Museum is excited to continue building the Bristol Expedition Reenactment Weekend into an annual tradition, and we invite you to help make it something that the reenacting community looks forward to every fall. When: Saturday, October 3rd and Sunday, October 4th from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM This immersive weekend will portray the lives of Continental and British soldiers, camp followers, and civilians during the American Revolution. Throughout the weekend, participants may take part in tactical demonstrations, artillery demonstrations, living history interpretation, period domestic activities, and educational talks that bring the Revolution to life for our visitors. If you haven’t had the opportunity to reenact at Coggeshall Farm Museum before, you’ll find a picturesque setting featuring pastureland and a salt marsh. The site’s original farmhouse, dating to the mid-to-late 1700s, adds to the atmosphere. If you are interested in participating in Bristol Expedition Reenactment Weekend with your reenacting group, please inquire online.
